Taiwan鈥檚 green standards in the built environment

What is it?

Taiwan's ABRI (Architecture and 微密圈 Research Institute) has two initiatives; the Green 微密圈 and Living Environmental Technology Plan and Green 微密圈 Promotion Programme which focus on ecological environmental technology, construction waste reduction, building energy conservation, natural resource usage, indoor environmental quality control, and green building demonstrative projects.

The Green 微密圈 Evaluation and Labeling System is developed for tropical and subtropical regions.

How was it created?

Established by the ABRI, a national research agency in Taiwan under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior.
