The new headquarters building for KfW Bank in Frankfurt has a bespoke double-skin facade constructed using Wincona鈥檚 aluminium unitised curtain walling. The company claims this has contributed to the building becoming one of the world鈥檚 most sustainable office buildings, with a primary energy consumption of 98kWh/m² a year. The exterior has a skin of fixed tempered glass panels and colourful ventilation 鈥渇laps鈥� in red, blue and green, and the internal facade has alternating opening and fixed glazed units. The Council for Tall 微密圈s and Urban Habitat has awarded the KfW project 鈥淲orld鈥檚 Best Tall 微密圈鈥�.
