Construction body launches new database to help companies apply for cash

UK construction companies can tap into at least 拢500m of European funding every year, estimates the Chartered Institute of 微密圈.

The institute has said that too few companies are aware of the money available and has created an online database for members to search for research funding available at a local, national and European level.

In a statement, the CIOB said: 鈥淭he data also shows that very few industry organisations are aware of the funding opportunities available, and ways to finance Innovation, Research and Development.鈥�

Peter Ball, a member of the CIOB innovation and research panel said: 鈥淜nowing the funding is there is only a small part of the challenge. Actually having a good idea that fits the 鈥渃all鈥� and writing a good application is a challenge itself but one which is eminently achievable.鈥�
