So, Mr McAslan, I鈥榙 been expecting you 鈥� Architect John McAslan + Partners has been picked by the Kensington and Chelsea council to spruce up Erno Goldfinger鈥檚 grade II-listed Trellick Tower in north Kensington. The firm鈥檚 brief is to repair and conserve the 31-storey tower, to improve the building鈥檚 entrance and to reinstate a number of lost building components. Work is due to start on the scheme next October. The project team includes building surveyor John Shreeves and Partners, QS the CBE Partnership and structural engineer Kumar Associates.
