This BDP-designed shopping centre outside Reykjavik opened last month. The 30,000 m2 Smaralind is the second mall to be built in the country, and attracted 45,000 people on its first day of trading. BDP acted as architect, interior designer, structural and M&E engineer and lighting and landscape designer. The local consultant team was led by Arkitektar.
