This £700,000 Italian bar and restaurant in Baker Street, central London, is architect Jestico + Whiles' second project for restaurateur Sami Wasis. Its other one was Hakkasan, off Tottenham Court Road, which was completed last year. The centrepiece of the 400 m2 building is three concave shells on the ground floor woven together from American black walnut timber. The contractor was Sherlock Interiors and the wood shells were made by Taylor Made Joinery. BSG as responsible for building services and the QS was Keogh Edwards.
