Ridge had a turnover of £140m last year

The business, which employs more than 1,300 people across 14 locations nationally, said it was seeking to strengthen its multi-disciplinary offer.

As a result of the six new appointments, Ridge now has a total of 40 equity partners across the business.

The appointments include Rennie Dalrymple, head of data centres, Chris Taylor, head of defence and security and David Pope, partner in expert witness services.

James Milne-Smith, partner in cost management, Nicky Dixey, director of people and culture, and Julie Guppy, director of marketing and communications, round out the appointments.

Ridge, which has a turnover of around £140m, has been on an acquisition trail of late, with purchases in the past year including programme manager Adept Management and civil and structural engineering consultant Jubb.

Two years ago, London private equity firm Horizon Capital pumped more than £40m into Ridge to take a “significant” stake in the business. At the time, Ridge senior partner Adrian O’Hickey admitted: “This will enable investment in people and acquisitions.”
