Developer Quintain Estates showed a pre-tax profit of 拢8.2m for the first six months of the year 鈥� an increase of 63%. The six months to 30
September 2000 also showed a 21% rise in earnings per share to 4.9p.
The property developer is to build 40 flats in a joint venture with Berkeley Homes in the Croydon Central Business District. The scheme is set to start on site in December.
