The revised plans for Richard Rogers Partnership's Grand Union building in Paddington Basin were unveiled this week. The proposals, submitted to Westminster council last week, cut more than one-third off the height of the towers without reducing office space. The proposals include 300,000 ft2 of residential accommodation and are the final phase of the 2.1 million ft2 mixed-use scheme. The client is Paddington Basin Development, Mace is project manager, Davis Langdon & Everest is cost consultant, services engineer is Cundall Johnston & Partners and Pell Frischmann is structural engineer.
