London architect A-EM Studio has been commissioned by developer GMS to design this housing scheme, known as the Crown Place, in Kentish Town Road, north London. A-EM proposes to demolish a series of abandoned garages and replace them with a mews and five three-bedroom houses. GMS has also appointed the practice to develop a second Kentish Town brownfield site at Grafton Crescent. This will incorporate two new houses within the outline of a dilapidated light industrial unit. Both schemes are with planning authorities.
