Aston Martin's engineering and assembly line facility in Warwickshire is now open. The Weedon Partnership's design will be used to produce Aston Martin DB9s, with the first models being completed early in 2004. There are more than 900 trees on the 55-acre site, and the population of greater-crested newts – which was temporarily relocated by ecologists during construction work – has been returned to its home ponds.
