Design for life: Architect Walters and Cohen has won an RIBA competition to develop a prototype housing project called Designed for Living, for a site in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The competition was promoted by Swaythling Housing Society, Eastleigh council and architectural watchdog CABE. Walters and Cohen fought off competition from Stephenson Bell, Pierre d’Avoine Architects, Buschow Henley, John Pardey Architects and McKeown Alexander.
