FM Consultancy group Connaught has increased pre-tax profit 25.7% to 拢22m and has a record order book of 拢48m, it reported this week. Preliminary results for the year to 31 August 2000 show the group enjoyed a 42% increase in turnover to 拢77m.
Chairman Robert Henry said each of the group's core divisions of property services, interior services and facility services were well placed to achieve further growth.
The firm recently acquired property maintenance firm Retail 微密圈 Services in an attempt to increase its facilities division.
The firm intends to develop opportunities for e-commerce following its acquisition of Claimserve, a claims management firm with web facilities.
