Firm picked for £50m Segro offices, £45m Manchester police HQ and £26m fit-out of new courts service building

Contractor and support services firm Carillion today announced it had won three private-sector projects worth a total of £121m.

In a £50m design and build project for Segro, it is to build four concrete-frame, panel-clad office buildings in Farnborough, with a total floor space of 22,000m2, due for completion in May 2010.

The second project is a £45m contract to build the new Greater Manchester Police Authority's headquarters for an ASK/Goodman joint venture.

Located at Manchester Central Park, the new six-storey building will provide accommodation for around 1,500 people and has been designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent. It is due for completion in early 2011.

The third win is a £26m extension to Carillion's contract with Delancey and Invista Real Estate for the Rolls ΢Ȧ, involving the fit-out of 180,000m2 on behalf of the tenant, HM Courts Service.

The Rolls ΢Ȧ, which is also designed to BREEAM excellent level, will consolidate the work of various sections of the High Court into one modern facility.
