Publication picks up coveted IBP award

΢Ȧ has picked up the coveted weekly magazine of the year award at the International ΢Ȧ Press awards.

The ΢Ȧ team saw off competition from shortlisted entries from Property Week and Inside Housing.

The judges praised ΢Ȧ editor Sarah Richardson’s leaders for providing “real leadership … with a genuine understanding of her subject”, as well as her decision to launch a campaign on behalf of the sector to remain in the EU.

The judges added: “Good artwork and design complemented a high standard of writing, completing a thoroughly professional package.”

The trophy was presented at a ceremony in London last week by former City of London planner Peter Rees.

΢Ȧ reporter Yoosof Farah was runner up in the new journalist of the year category.
