This £300m Coventry New Hospitals project is the largest PFI healthcare facility planned so far. Nightingale Associates designed the 1200-bed teaching hospital, and the project is due for completion in 2006. The clients are University Hospitals, Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust, Coventry Healthcare NHS Trust and the University of Warwick. The main contractor is Skanska, structural engineer is Arup, M&E engineer is Troup Bywaters & Anders and the project was financed by Innisfree.
