The £600m scheme, developed by Parkview International, has received detailed planning permission and involves building over an area of 515,000 m2 on a 15 ha site. The site will include two five-star, 1000-room hotels, as well as conference and banqueting facilities for up to 3000 people. A 2000- to 4000-seater auditorium, 70,000 m2 of offices and 710 apartments have also been approved. Enabling works are due to start in February.
