Bovis Lend Lease has been appointed construction manager for the largest private urban regeneration scheme in the UK at Battersea power station, south London.

The 拢600m scheme, developed by Parkview International, has received detailed planning permission and involves building over an area of 515,000 m2 on a 15 ha site. The site will include two five-star, 1000-room hotels, as well as conference and banqueting facilities for up to 3000 people. A 2000- to 4000-seater auditorium, 70,000 m2 of offices and 710 apartments have also been approved. Enabling works are due to start in February.
