A visitor poses by the White Gates at the 2019 Archstoyanie annual festival of landscape objects in the Nikola-Lenivets art park in Russia’s Kaluga region. The wooden “triumphal arch” acts as an entrance to the park, where only natural materials found in the region can be used by the artists who travel long distances to display their works. The installation was created by festival founder Nikolai Polissky.
