Architect Broadway Malyan has delivered the concept masterplan for a 17km2 extension to Sadr City in Baghdad. The scheme, worth $10bn (Β£6.12bn), will be built in the area formerly known as being one of the most dangerous in Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. The district will house over 500,000 inhabitants.
